Borneo Jazz festival withdrawal symptom

Borneo Jazz 2014 had ended and I’m feeling kind of weird. Oh well, all good things must come to an end. Although I had attended jazz festivals elsewhere before, this was actually my first time getting involved in a Borneo Jazz event; many thanks to my friend and fellow blogger – Ladybird Eileen, whom I admire for her no-nonsense attitude. I’m deeply moved by the level of commitment and dedication given by each and every soul involved in the Borneo Jazz 2014 event.

In this entry, I’m not going to talk about the performers; they are truly amazing and I shall write about their awesomeness in another post. Right now I want to focus on the wonderful people behind the scene. It was impossible for me to chase everyone for interviews as they ran faster than I am. They were busy carrying out their duties and making sure the event would be a successful one.

In case you are wondering who were the awesome souls behind this wonderful event, please read on. The four images below were taken from the Borneo Jazz 2014 Programme Book.

The experience I gained while being part of Borneo Jazz 2014 is simply priceless. If fate and destiny allow it, I would love to be part of the festival again in the future. Borneo Jazz festival had a lovely and sporting crowd this year. Next year will be the 10th anniversary of Borneo Jazz festival in Miri. I predict it would be merrier.
